COOKING TIPS

Cooking tips

We recommend grilling or pan searing on high heat to create an outer crust, keeping the inside juicy and rich in flavour. Don’t worry about fancy techniques or spices - the deep 100% grass-fed flavour will provide plenty for your tastebuds. Lastly, don’t forget to let your meat rest for 5 minutes before digging in - slicing too early means losing all of those delicious juices! Bonus tip: start with the strip-side down to extract some of the fat to naturally baste the steak as it cook

FAQs

This is a tricky distinction you need to keep an eye out for! Even factory farmed cattle start out eating some grass, which means they are technically “grass-fed”, despite being unnaturally fattened up on a grain-based diet afterwards. At Sunday Farms, our beef is always 100% grass-fed, which is also sometimes referred to as “grass-fed and grass finished”.

No!  Subscriptions are not required, but we do offer the ability to subscribe to your products to help you save time and money.

Yes. Your meat will arrive with dry ice to ensure the product remains frozen while in transit to your doorstep. If your package has been sitting out for an extended period, it is possible the dry ice may have dissipated. Do not worry if your product has started to defrost, it is still perfectly safe to consume if it still feels cold to the touch – simply place the product in your freezer or put it directly in the fridge if you plan on consuming it in the next few days.

Not at all. Dry ice will keep the contents of your package frozen until you arrive home that day! If you live in a house, your package will be left at your front door unless you specify otherwise. If your address has a controlled entrance, you will need to provide a buzzer code for entry and/or inform your concierge of the delivery.
