Lab Testing Sunday Farms meat vs conventional meat

dp spotlight sf Lab Testing Sunday Farms meat vs conventional meat

Did you know we recently commissioned an independent study to analyze the nutritional profile of Sunday Farms meat?*

We wanted an unbiased, scientific "look under the hood" and we're happy to report this third party study revealed some incredible information, which we look forward to sharing with you over the coming weeks - starting today with our beef!

While we need both omega 6s and omega 3s to maintain good health, Canadians tend to get way too many omega 6s in our diet, which "cancels out" the positive effects of omega 3s.

Conventional beef is extremely high in omega 6s with an unhealthy omega 6 to omega 3 ratio as high as 30:1!

Again, these differences are thanks to our beef being pasture raised and 100% grass-fed. It's a difference that is clearly better for you - and as an added bonus, it also happens to taste better too!

*We arranged for a food science lab at the University of Guelp Research Park Centre to run impartial lipid tests of both Sunday Farms meats, and meat from a local grocery chain.
